Got Game?
The 2010 season is just around the corner and the Ogden Outlaws are looking for young men who would like to join the team. Open try-outs will be taking place on two days - March 26th and March 27th. If you are a committed, highly competitive individual and would like to take your game to the next level by balling against top-caliber players, then the Outlaws want you!
March 26th - 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at The Sportsplex, 1188 Sportsplex Drive, Kaysville, UT.
March 27th - 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Fremont Park, 1950 S. 3000 W., Syracuse, UT.
The Ogden Outlaws are an under-23 team that competes in the Premier Development League operated by United Soccer Leagues. The PDL season consists of a 16-game schedule against teams in the Southwest Division of the Western Conference. In addition to league play, the Outlaws will have the opportunity to qualify for the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup and may compete in some exhibition matches. The PDL provides a professional environment where elite players are able to compete at a high level during the summer months while maintaining their college elligibility.
Over the age of 23? No problem. Even though the Outlaws are primarily for players under the age of 23, there are limited roster positions available for those highly skilled soccer players over the age of 23 who would bring an unsurpassed level of commitment and leadership to the organization.
All those desiring to participate in the try-outs will need to fill out the attached USL Registration form and submit with a 1" x 1" passport style photograph and a $50 try-out fee. For additional information about registration, please visit the Ogden Outlaws website.

2007 Outlaws
The 2007 version of the Ogden Outlaws saw many new faces, but also some familiar ones as well. A few of the core players from the 2006 season returned for another chance to play soccer in front of family and friends. The Ogden coaches tapped into the local talent to fill most of the roster spots and also picked up a few players from various colleges to round out the roster. It was a reunion of sorts, as many of the players had played together at the club level in their younger days. As additional players became available, the roster saw changes in hopes of strengthening the team and providing a deeper pool of talent.

Kyle Christensen became the first member of the Ogden Outlaws to be drafted in Major League Soccer's Super Draft. Chivas USA, about to begin their fifth season as a member of MLS, used the 35th pick of the draft to select Kyle.
Kyle Christensen, whose home town is Layton, Utah, led the Layton Lancers to a 5A state title in 2003 and also earned the Class 5A MVP award.
